I always struggle with giving out two kinds of recommendations: Rom coms and Bollywood movies for Indian Cinema Virgins.
After a lot of thought and consideration and 18 years of singledom I have chosen, *drumroll please*, 2014's "hasee Toh Phasee".
It's easy, it's breezy. It's got a kick-ass soundtrack. It features the most good looking man I have ever laid eyes on as a sensitive and funny little creature. The female lead has goals and aspirations in the field of science, is fleshed out, and her life does not revolve around her man. It is also easily comprehensible if you've never seen an Indian film before.
